In order to limit people from going out, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has asked localities to organize distribution of food tickets on even-odd days and time frames. Some localities have started knocking on people's doors to distribute 'shopping' tickets.

 

The group leaders, residential groups will directly hand out these tickets to their residents. Depending on the level of safety of each locality, tickets are distributed in turn to go to the market 2 days a week or 3 days a week.

 

As the locality is also implementing this, the leader of Go Vap district said that each household is issued with 3 tickets a week, the representative of the household goes to buy food and necessities according to the day on the ticket and fill in the information in the form. The ticket is valid for one-time use at any food and necessities supply point in the area.

 

Management boards of markets, trade centers, supermarkets and convenience stores will collect this ticket and save it by day for epidemiological investigation when needed.
